Birds flyin’ high you know how I feel
Sun in the sky you know how I feel
Breeze driftin’ on by you know how I feel
Its a new dawn, its a new day, its a new life for me
yeah, its a new dawn its a new day its a new life for me ooooooooh
AND I’M FEELING GOOD!
That might be a littl strong. I really feel just okay. It’s a little too early. I gottta get myself dressed, fed and blogged before I head of to work. So here I go.
Breakfast in bed... the classics, coffee and toast with vegemite and peanut butter
Top: Joe’s Jeans jacket, tight fit, but who cares?
Bottom: Love your Denim denim jeans, a gift from an almost anonymous doner
Accessory: Sweet denim bag, Japanese in origin

Not so chilly this early morning. Cold, but not freezing. Today’s outfit is not so different to yesterday as it’s tight from top to toe. I can’t decide if wearing tight jeans is good fashion or fashion faux-pas for a lady of my mature years. Not that it’s gunna stop me wearing stuff. I’ve got 9 months to go, and I need to keep all looks on the table, in my sights, on my body and ready to wear.
Better rush. I’ve got some educating to do.
She wears a mean pair of jeans and they are oh so tight
Top: Still got Most Favorite “status”, South Seas Bubble Co denim jacket with stylin’ red trim
Bottom: Industrie jeans, a little sausagey but there’s nothing wrong with jeans fitting like a second skin
Accessory: Mavi bag, which I suspect is a super teen label, but you are never too old to dress too young

An early start at work equals an early blog equals a short blog. No time to blab on and on. Let me just say that the mornings are getting lighter and prettier, sort of the opposite of me.
Candid coffee drinking pose
Top: Vintage Saba shirt, missing 1 press stud so it bulges unbecomingly right in the middle
Bottom: Bargain buy at a kingsford op-shop, Jay Jays jeans, very tight and a bit too long
Accessory: denim shoulder bag. I need a largish bag as I gotta return some dvds
Here’s an outfit that’s definitely on my wishlist. Anyone out there who can sew? I think it will be a real hit at work and after work wear.

Phew. I’m exhausted already. You might suspect I had a bit of a sleep in, which I did. However when I finally arose and prepared myself to take today’s photo, I remembered I needed to mow the lawn today. So I thought I would take a picture of me and the mower, a 40+ year old Victor for the mower fetishists out there. Once I had taken the photo I thought I might as well mow the lawn. So I did. and that’s why the blog is tardy today.
She works hard for the money so you better treat her right
Top: I am working in the yard so it’s best I wear the original work jacket, Levi’s
Bottom: Today I am also visiting a friend in her new home so I have to look a little bit ‘smart’ as my grandmother used to say, so I am wearing some flashy red jeans donated by RO
Accessory: Terrible bed hair must be concealed by a cap, which today is the dark blue denim cap gifted from far North Queensland

Did anyone see the fashion shoot down at Whitlam Park alongside the scenic Cook River this morning? You didn’t? Well here are some photos from it…
Even high flying business women have to walk their dogs, unless they pay someone else to do it
It was incredible down at the river. I’ve never see anything like it. Lights, cameras, action, close-ups, make-up. There was even a fluffer.
Dog strikes pose, supermodel looks on
Top 1: Label free super smart, power dressing styled, denim suit jacket, probably made in Hongkers
Top 2: Bought in Ballina decades ago, fake patchwork denim shirt
Bottom: Uber denim label, Levi’s in a polyester, high waisted slight flare mode
Accessory: fcuk denim bag, cos I’m all about the labels

Is there a song about grey Sundays?
There’s Blue Monday, Manic Monday, Monday Monday, Stormy Monday.
Thursday has Ruby Tuesday.
Wednesday is a bit light in but there is Wednesday Morning am.
Um nothing springs to mind for Thursday.
Friday has heaps: Friday on my Mind and Friday’s Child for example.
Saturday there’s quite a few songs like A Roller Skating Jam called Saturday, Saturday Night’s Alright fo Fighting, Saturday Night etc.
And back to Sunday, which has a few: Sunday Morning, Sunday Bloody Sunday. But no song I know, even with the help of Google, has the words Grey Sunday in the title.
Todays IS a grey Sunday, and I’m a bit shleppy, but you can’t always be scaling the heights of fashion. Well I can’t…
Me and The Green Lady have business to conduct... serious business
Top: Wrangler loaner. Noice.
Bottom: Ben Sherman jeans. Comfy
Accessory: Denim belt loaner
Here’s that belt, on loan from AK…
Be warned, I'm a quick draw

Today is the final day of the exhibition I have been in at Mori gallery, 168 Day Street, Sydney.
To mark the end of the show we are also holding an arts n’ crafts market down there from 2-6pm this afternoon. If you have stuff you make to sell just turn up with something to put your bits on. There might be some free booze on offer too.
If you can’t make it down there to see what I’m wearing in the flesh, here’s my outfit for the day…
A little bit cuntry, a little bit WTF
Top 1: Dragstar super sweet denim vest. Actually, I have changed out of this vest coz it’s jst so friggin’ snug, and I’m wearing the other Dragstar vest with the distressed edges, but I’m too slack to update the pic.
Top 2: Fletcher Jeans jacket thrown casually over my shoulder just in case the weather gets nippy later on
Bottom: They haven’t seen much action lately, my superb example of a 1970’s flare Landlubber jeans
Accessory 1: dark grey denim cap, I thought I’d break up the mid blue denim look
Accessory 2: Dark blue denim bag with fluoro decals
Come out and look for me. I’ll be the only person wearing top to toe mid blue denim in Chinatown today. Guaranteed.
