The gifts keep coming

The Year of Denim is now nearly 2 weeks in the past and sometimes it feels like it never happened at all, apart from the small matter of my daily struggle to NOT wear 3 pieces of denim.

And then something special happens, like today for instance.

A friend from many years ago and I have recently become reacquainted. She said to me a number of times “I have something very special to give you for the Year of Denim”.

I assumed it was some amazing denim wearable thing. But no! It is something way more incredible than that.

It’s this…

Year of Denim: Blue Jean baby

Blue Jean baby definitely make her blue jeans talk, but what are they saying?

Can you believe it? I can’t. It’s incredible! It’s handcrafted denim suit for one of those freaky dolls that drink and wee!

Check out the rear view. It’s almost sexy…

Baby Blue Jean is a little on the gimpy side from behind

Oh yeah! Baby Gimp strapped into a denim playsuit!

Helen McLean you are a true artist. How you could doubt it I do not know!

So even though YoD is over,  denim goes on and on and on…

This looks like a prototype for the anniversary of YoD don’t you think! It is a truely memorable keepsake polke, handcrafted which makes it all the more beautiful, even though it is a little creepy.

      It’s creepin’ awesome!
I lve it and think it’s amazing.
      I’ll treasure it forever.
Perhaps now I’ll get a tattoo of Blue Jean baby on my bicep (like those tragic parents) instead of a jeans pocket on my arse.

  3. timh says:

    luv the hair

that is wack-tastically sensational. that rear view is just unbelievable. i don’t suppose you are watching Psychoville (bizarre UK creepo comedy, Wed, 9.30pm ABC1)? There is a crazy maternity nurse in it, who treats one of the demonstration dolls as her actual baby. i reckon this little tacker is just the ticket.

    • Year of Denim says:

Oh yeah. Dawn French being super freak nurse.
I think she’d be disappointed in Blue Jean Baby as her outfit is glued on.

After the terrible disappointment of last nights SOPPY Glee episode thanks Gifted True Artist Helen McLean – whoever you are you’ve put the World to rights again.

  6. spiegel says:

i watched Glee for the first time ever last night and thought it was a load of shite. was i just exposed to a bad one?

    • Year of Denim says:

Last night was horribly dull and mush except for the few glimmers of fantastic-ness that is Sue Sylvester

  7. HRH says:

    über spooky…
mind you… you could get mummy bear to make a similar outfit and you could carry the doll around… talk to it… only comes to life when no one is watching… Tim Tim indeed…

  8. raquel says:

  9. Goffers says:
