I know, I know. The blog is very late. You’ll have to excuse me.
I slept well in this morning down here in Jamberoo. As a result I let other priorities take precedence over YoD.
This rarely happens, but I imagine over the summer holiday period, which begins for me for real on Monday, the pleasantries of beach, surf, sun ‘n sand is going to result in Yod being updated in the evenings (hopefully).
Today I toured Kiama, Gerringong, Geroa and Berry in a search for new denims. And I got real lucky.
Finally I managed to purchase a white denim jacket. Sure it’s a little on the tiny side (size 8 strapped across a size 14 chest) but I can get it on in soooo many ways.
I also purchased some lovely examples of local handicrafts. Have a look….
I can hear everyone out there asking ‘WTF is that?’ Let me show you another version gifted to me by HRH…
Aren’t they amazing? Who’d a thought Kiama’s local craft society could come up with something so remarkable? Certainly I didn’t. It was HRH who bravely ventured in to the show and advised me of the amazing creativity on display. Regrets? NONE!!!
Anyway. Here’s what I wore around the south coast today. Look closely to see Dr Dump’s wave jumping action…
Top: Dragstar vest
Bottom: Rusty chambre shorts. Aaaaaaaahhhhh
Accessory 1: Denim sun visor
Accessory 2: Denim birkies
What is doesn’t show are the flying fish that were jumping all around Dr Dump…
We only have his word that the fish were there.
Perhaps he made it all up??
I have been looking for a white denim jacket for years! For realsies! to wear with no irony.
No irony intended….
Again with the White Sunshine vibe, nice.
Is it just me or are you like always on holidays, astride some other lovely east coast hot spot or by some shining silver river?
I do approach life with a festive attitude. Mostly.
life is a permanent vacation
Is that homily REALLY coming from the poisoned pen of tx????
Making up for petulant attitude displayed last Thursday I guess…
